1949 - OMES developes and build the first steel bender.
1967 - MEP introduces the world's first coil-fed automatic stirrup bender.
1970 - Is a foundamental year in the history of automatic stirrup benders with MEP's development of the first electronically-controlled STAF 71. Also in this year, OMES produced its first spinner rotor straightening machine.
